Aries Full Moon — Time to trust yourself

A soft, layered sky filled with clouds in shades of white and gray, with small gaps of pale blue peeking through here and there

Dear reader,

Today’s Full Moon in Aries marks the heart of the Virgo lunar cycle that opened on September 11th. It illuminates what’s been growing in the garden of our lives since then, and since April’s New Moon in Aries — and where there’s still room to grow.

✎ How are you feeling?

✎ What’s coming to light?

Guided by the Full Moon in Aries

The Moon becomes fully illuminated at 3 degrees of Aries on September 26th at 6:49 pm CEST, and with it, our individual will and I-am-ness. This Full Moon is here to help us lean into who we are, remember our own strength, and trust what prompts us from within.

The Full Moon sits with Neptune, the great dissolver. In Aries, Neptune dissolves our sense of a separate self and reorients our will toward something larger than ourselves. This lunation says: our choices matter, not because they’re ours, but because they inform the choices everybody else makes. They answer not only the question “who am I,” but also “who are we as human beings.”

The Full Moon also sits near Saturn in Aries, asking us to be patient and act with foresight and consideration while remaining true to ourselves. It’s reminding us that knowing who we are and what we want is not the same as doing whatever we want no matter the consequences.

The Full Moon in Aries & you

To work with the Full Moon in your own chart and life, find the house where you have Aries, the sign of the Full Moon. It shows where in your life things are culminating, and where you’re invited to balance trusting yourself and daring to be yourself with patience and compassion.

If you have any planets or angles at or near 3 degrees of Aries — or Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn — or if you’re in an Aries profection year, this Full Moon may pull on you more.

✎ What’s calling for your courage?

✎ Where are you giving your power away?

✎ How might you lean more into who you are?

✎ What are you wanting to go for?

✎ What are you willing to do?

Until next time...

I’m looking forward to writing to you again as we draw closer to the New Moon in Libra on October 10th at 5:50 pm CEST. It marks the ending of this lunar cycle and the beginning of a new one.

In the meantime, you can take the questions from this letter with you on your walk, into your journal, or wherever else feels right. I hope they tickle you and help you weave yourself into the mystery of this Aries Full Moon.

Note: Every date is in Central European Summer Time, so depending on where you are in the world, it could be a day earlier or later. You can use each link to find your local time.
